Allah the Almighty said:
"…And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka'bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, those who can afford the expenses (for conveyance, provision and residence); and whoever disbelieves (i.e. denies Hajj then he is a disbeliever of Allah), then Allah) stands not in need of an of the 'Alamin ( mankind and sins). 3:97

The Virtues of Hajj
Narrated Abu Hurrairah, may Allah be pleased with him, The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Whoever performs Hajj for Allah's sake only and does not have sexual relations with his wife, and does not do evil or sins then he will return (after Hajj free from sins) as if he were born a new."

The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "One who performed Hajj Mabrur has no reward except Paradise." (Agreed upon)

Hajj Mabrur is the Hajj accepted by Allah for being performed perfectly according to the Prophet's Sunnah with legally earned money avoiding the sin and evils during Hajj


Narrated Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: I said, "O Allah's Messenger! We consider Jihad as the best deed. Should we not participate in Jihad"
The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, "No! The best Jihad (for women) is Hajj-Mubrur (performed with the intention of seeking Allah's and is in accordance with the Prophet's legal ways without committing sins and acceptable to Allah"

The first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them. Allah's Messenger, peace be upon him, said, "There are no days during which the righteous action is so pleasing to Allah as as righteous action done during these days (i.e. the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah)."He was asked: O Allah's Messenger, not even Jihad in the cause of Allah, except in case one goes forth with his life and his property and) does not return with either of it."(Al-Bukhari)

Fasting the Day of Arafah
Narrated Abu Qatadah, may Allah be pleased with him: Allah's Messenger, peace be upon him, was asked about the observance of Saum (fasting) on the day of Arafah. He said, "It is an expiation for the sins current year" (Muslim)
